Turning plastic waste into clothes and upcycling textile waste into products - UNIREC

Mumbai-based UNIREC is a brand founded by Kapil Bhatia. They make T-shirts, Jackets and more from Recycled Pet bottles (RPET) UNIREC also has a circular fashion initiative called ‘Project Sundri’. Under this initiative - you can send your old UNIREC clothes back to them so they can be upcycled into bags, keychains and other accessories by women in need. This aims to reduce the environmental impact of fashion by giving old fabrics a new life.
