THE BOMBAY STORE- YOURS ARTFULLY, INDIAN Location: Mumbai, Seawood Mall, India | Size: 1650 sft A brand story that began in 1906, was reimagined to continue championing the art of authentic ‘Swadeshi’, made in India, sourced from Indian artisans and craftsmen in an experiential environment offering a curated range of Home décor, Tea and wellness, Fashion Accessories, Souvenirs and Gifts and Pashmina. The reimagined store epitomizes the authentic and tasteful old-world charm of India in a modern context in two distinct experience zones – The Market Place and The Home. The former is inspired from the cultural energy of Indian marketplaces and the later from the exquisite décor in the homes of royalty in India interpreted in fixtures, visual merchandising and communication in the store. A material palette of earthy stone finishes, rich carved wood, filigree work, metallic embellishments and printed fabrics help create the experiential story for the brand. Overall, the design helps deliver a delightful and memorable journey of discovery across the store right from the store front.
