Fashion is one of the world's largest polluters — yet the communities most affected are rarely the ones it serves. Real change will only come when two forces move together: at the top, where artists, designers, and cultural leaders shape aspiration and influence — and on the ground, where everyday people decide whether to buy new or rePurpose what already exists. In this session, RHRN Fashion Executive Director and designer Nell Tercek is joined by wardrobe stylist Lani Rose Ault — whose clients include Rihanna, Drake, Selena Gomez, and Kendrick Lamar — and Lithuanian designer and 2025 European Climate Pact Ambassador Olesia Les, a leading voice at the intersection of fashion, climate, and human rights. Together they connect the red carpet, the runway, and the policy table. Nell and Lani recently led an RHRN rePurpose Fashion pop-up in Boulder, built on a simple premise: if you can rePurpose a garment, you can help rePurpose an industry. With Olesia extending the movement into Europe, the work is growing. Through RHRN Fashion's global social platforms, we're inviting designers and creators to bring the movement home — launching rePurpose pop-ups in their own communities and sharing them with the world. Every stenciled garment becomes an act of agency, a way to wear your values.
