RECORD SHOPPING: Selling a grail & drooling over rare vinyl in Winnipeg

It was one of the coldest mornings of the year in Winnipeg, but I couldn’t stay home. I had a deal to close... In today’s video, I’m heading down to Duly Records to visit my old pal Peter and part ways with a massive Ozzy Osbourne boxset. Peter gave me a tour of his store and showed some grails he’s hunted down recently, including a legendary first-pressing Rush record on the Moon label and a soul/funk rarity worth upwards of $3,000. We talk about the "culture" of the record store, the thrill of the hunt, and why the "provenance" of a used record matters more than just clicking "buy" on Amazon. Plus, I didn’t leave empty-handed—I managed to track down a sentimental K-Tel classic from my childhood.
