JD Institute of Fashion Technology & JD School of Design participated as Official Academic Collaborators at the Fabrics & Accessories Trade Show & Apparel Sourcing Fair 2026, held at Trade Centre KTPO, Whitefield, Bengaluru. This global textile convergence brought together leading buyers, suppliers, manufacturers, and innovators - and our students were at the heart of it. From observing real-time buyer–supplier negotiations to understanding global sourcing strategies, trend forecasting, and supply chain management, this was immersive, hands-on industry learning. A special highlight was our student installation, “SECOND LIFE,” a sustainability-driven concept transforming discarded fabrics into a symbol of creative renewal and responsible design.
