Title: Italian Police Just Raided Chanel, Bulgari, and Moncler. Not For Fakes. Italian police raided nine luxury houses in July 2026 — Chanel, Bulgari, Moncler, Brunello Cucinelli, Etro, Goyard, Jacob Cohen, and Stefano Ricci — investigating whether their subcontractors were exploiting Chinese workers. Some were found making leather goods in workshops with unsuitable conditions, including bedrooms used as workspaces. This is the second such raid in seven months. Milan prosecutors hit 13 more brands in December, including Prada, Givenchy, and Dolce & Gabbana. Brunello Cucinelli said it was "surprised and deeply saddened" some of its packaging came from an unsuitable workplace despite supplier checks. This isn't one brand's problem. It's what happens when margin pressure meets zero supply chain visibility, repeated across the industry. #LuxuryFashion #FashionTech #SupplyChain #MadeInItaly #FashionNews #FashionIndustry #Manufacturing
