I Was Sent to Kill a Thief… Then I Woke Up in a Witch’s House | Story Recap

He was sent to kill a thief. Instead, a mysterious witch stopped his heart. Requard Lamelle is an elite assassin of the Nightshade Gale, trained to eliminate dangerous targets without leaving a trace. His latest mission seems simple: eliminate Amadeus Wilhelm and recover a stolen royal crystal. But someone has prepared the perfect trap. Even Requard's legendary technique, Dead Silence, cannot hide him from Vaelith Morcant — the feared Witch of Hollow Graves. One touch from her brings his heartbeat to a stop. Then, against everything he understands about death, Requard wakes up inside her mysterious home. With Vaelith, her mischievous apprentice Karmela Sloth, and a stolen artifact tied to a much larger conspiracy, Requard is drawn into a dangerous journey across a world of ancient magic, forgotten kingdoms, assassins and political secrets. As enemies close in, the assassin who once lived only for his contracts must decide what — and who — is worth protecting. ⚔️ Requard Lamelle — Elite Assassin of the Nightshade Gale 🖤 Vaelith Morcant — The Witch of Hollow Graves ✨ Karmela Sloth — The Witch's Apprentice Experience an original long-form dark fantasy story featuring: • A dangerous assassin and a mysterious witch • Slow-burn romance and evolving relationships • Ancient magic, forgotten secrets and conspiracies • Dark fantasy adventure and dangerous enemies • Humor, meaningful choices and character development ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 💬 WANT PART 2?
