Highlights of Taipei Fashion Week SS23 Opening Show

Taiwan's indigenous fashion has won many awards on the international runway. This year's Taipei Fashion Week SS23 invited five masters of "National Treasures". Namely Teacher Yan Yuying, Miyang, Chen Liyoumei, Seta Bakan and Yoma Dalu. And with five designers, namely SHAO YEN, Jian Guoyan, Zhou Yuying, DYCTEAM Chao Chiyi, Su Jiahong. Contemporary fashion designers who demonstrate master craftsmanship jointly present an unprecedented "Indigenous Show" that Taiwanese have been waiting for for a long time. Five national treasure masters from different tribes will each create 2 sets of costumes. The fashion designers who cooperate with them will create another 8 sets of costumes according to the inspiration concept and craft details of the national treasure masters. Both masters and designers worked together to create a big show with 50 outfits. It is not only the clothing design that leads the crowd through the time corridor, but also hearing and visual play an important role in creating an immersive show. This time, SS23 invited the Golden Melody Award musician Ah Bao as the music director. She was born in the Paiwan tribe.
