In part two, we show how to export your CAD pattern as a PDF file from TUKAdesign and import it into your favorite graphic design software. At this point comments and notes can be typed or drawn directly on the 2D pattern. If you are using the 2016 SP3 version of TUKAcad (or newer), you can open your patterns in Adobe Illustrator, which enables better communication between CAD designers. Graphic designers do no need a TUKAcad software license to be able to view fashion patterns. Rather, they can open a 2D CAD file in their preferred graphics software, which makes for smoother communication in product development. NOTE: This lesson was recorded in a legacy version of the TUKAcad software suite for pattern making, grading, and marker making. Some aspects of the interface may be a little different, however we believe the knowledge shared here is valuable for every pattern maker.
