'Bally AR' virtual try-on for Loomish Fashion Innovation Award 2021

Part of the Metail x Valentins 'BALLYVERSE' vision BALLYVERSE involves helping Bally designers to create digital AR clothing collections that go beyond the normal constraints of physical fabrics: ‘Bally Haus Digital Drops’. These drops feature clothing elements which can be seen as dynamic objects in Augmented Reality. We then use the inherently limited nature of physical stores to act as a bridge between the exclusivity associated with luxury and unlimited access affiliated with digital; to experience the full digital drop consumers need to visit a Bally Haus. Inside the store, ‘Bally AR’ allows consumers to try-on both physical and virtual clothes on themselves through their mobile phone.
