Are Your Handknits Wearable? (The Capsule Wardrobe Reality Check)

Can you really knit a capsule wardrobe — or is that just another lovely knitting fantasy with excellent lighting? In this video, I’m putting my own handknits to the test with real clothes from my closet: jeans and a tee, a navy midi dress, and a white shirt with navy pants. I’m looking at whether these pieces actually work as part of a wearable wardrobe, or whether they’re beautiful handmade garments that need a very specific styling situation and possibly a small committee. I’ll be trying on knitted vests, tees, sweaters, and cardigans, plus one crocheted top, and looking at what really makes a handmade garment useful: colour, fibre, drape, neckline, length, layering, and whether it survives contact with actual clothes.
